</div><p>In this lesson, we will discuss the <b>basics of synthestration</b>.</p><p>I’m assuming that you own some orchestral sample <b>libraries </b>and you’ve got a <b class="">sequencer</b>. You could get started with the stock sounds of your sequencer. They’re not the best sounds, but it is a good starting point.</p><p>Depending on what libraries you have, you’ll be using either <b>Kontakt </b>(most of the libraries), <b>Play </b>(East West), or <b>Vienna Instruments</b> or Ensemble Pro (VSL).</p><p>If you’re getting started and you need some help with that, <b>ask in the Facebook group</b>. We’ll be happy to help.</p><p>The concepts discussed in the following videos will apply to everyone, no matter the software you use. In most of the screencasts, you’ll see Cubase and Kontakt, but <b>the concepts apply across the board</b>, no matter if you use Logic Pro X, DP, Sonar, Pro Tools, etc. and other samplers and synths like Play, Viena Instruments of Ensemble Pro, Omnisphere, etc.</p><p>The concepts in the videos are explained in an easy-to-understand way. Those that are a bit more complex or longer will include a <b>PDF </b>file that will help to clarify what has been discussed in the video.</p><p>At the end of this module, you’ll find an <b>assignment</b>. There is not a hard deadline, but I encourage you to finish every lesson’s assignment within the week.
