		'content' => '<p>Over time, the structure established in the Classical period was gradually increased in both numbers and variety. The woodwinds in pairs becomes the standard for any symphonic piece. As we enter into the period it becomes commonplace to call on additional woodwind instruments like the piccolo and English horn. Finally, the brass sections grow to a layout that usually includes 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones (1 of them bass) and tuba. The strings also increase accordingly (around the 6-8 Vln. I, 6-8 Vln. II, 4-6 Vla., 4-6 Vc. and 1-3 Cb.).</p><p>The use of orchestral families is very similar to what we saw in the Classical period. The balance of usage however is more even, due to the new additions and increasing perfection of the brass instruments. The strings are still busy most of the time, but slightly less than before. The woodwinds are going to be closer to the strings in usage, being immediately followed by the French horns. The rest of the brass will be busier than it previously was while the percussion will participate considerably less than the other instrument families.</p><p>Symphony No. 3 by L. V. Beethoven is traditionally considered to be the symphony that opened the Romanticism period. Symphony No. 6 by P. Mahler, who expanded, like very few, the ensemble until its maximum potential is reached. At this point it’s not just about the number of instruments, but about the variety of instruments. This provides the opportunity to explore all the possibilities of the orchestra, both in dynamic and color. Mahler, quien expandió, como muy pocos, el ensamble hasta su máximo potencial. En este punto no solamente hablamos del número de instrumentos, sino de la variedad de los mismos. Esto provee la oportunidad de explorar todas las posibilidades de la orquesta, tanto en dinámica como color. The woodwinds in pairs becomes the standard for any symphonic piece. As we enter into the period it becomes commonplace to call on additional woodwind instruments like the piccolo and English horn. Finally, the brass sections grow to a layout that usually includes 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones (1 of them bass) and tuba. The strings also increase accordingly (around the 6-8 Vln. I, 6-8 Vln. II, 4-6 Vla., 4-6 Vc. and 1-3 Cb.).</p><p>The use of orchestral families is very similar to what we saw in the Classical period. The balance of usage however is more even, due to the new additions and increasing perfection of the brass instruments. The strings are still busy most of the time, but slightly less than before. The woodwinds are going to be closer to the strings in usage, being immediately followed by the French horns. The rest of the brass will be busier than it previously was while the percussion will participate considerably less than the other instrument families.</p><p>Symphony No. 3 by L. V. Beethoven is traditionally considered to be the symphony that opened the Romanticism period. Symphony No. 6 by P. Mahler, who expanded, like very few, the ensemble until its maximum potential is reached. At this point it’s not just about the number of instruments, but about the variety of instruments. This provides the opportunity to explore all the possibilities of the orchestra, both in dynamic and color. This century, which was comprised of the greatest variety and number of artistic movements, had two directions in terms of orchestration: the use of the orchestra as the largest chamber ensemble of a vast array of colors, and the use of it as a number of powerful groups.</p><p>At this point all sections, including the percussion, have roughly the same importance and weight as a group within the orchestra. The strings, which were always busiest in the orchestra, have great versatility, and do not tire after long periods of time playing by themselves , remains the group that carries slightly more music than the others. Overall, however, the entire orchestra is quite balanced.</p><p>A very well-known example of the use of the orchestra as a large chamber ensemble, as well as by moments of the power of the group, is The Rite of Spring by I. <p>Es difícil de resumir un siglo orquestalmente tan diverso como el siglo 20,
pero podemos hablar acerca de cómo ha afectado a la “Film Music”. Este siglo,
que ha tenido la más grande variedad y número de movimientos artísticos, posee
dos direcciones en término de orquestación: el uso de la orquesta como el más
grande ensambles de cámara con una gran diversidad de colores, y el uso de esta
como un número de grupos poderosos.</p><p>En este punto todas las secciones, incluyendo la percusión, tienen casi la
misma importancia y peso como grupo dentro de la orquesta. Las cuerdas, quienes
siempre fueron los más ocupados en la orquesta, tienen gran versatilidad, y no
se cansan luego de grandes periodos de tiempo tocando por ellos mismos, siguen
cargando con más cantidad de música que el resto. En general, sin embargo, la
orquesta entera se encuentra más balanceada.</p>

<p>Un muy bien conocido ejemplo del uso de la orquesta como una gran orquesta
de cámara, y en algunos momentos como la fuerza de grupo, es The rite of Spring
de I. Stravinsky que ha sido la pieza más influyente de todo el siglo 20. De
manera<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>similar, tenemos una de las
piezas más influyentes para la “film music”. The Planets de G. Holst, que hace
uso un gran uso de la orquesta como una entidad y asimismo como delicado grupo

La sección de metales sobrepasa al modelo romántico 4-2-3-1 – en el primer caso – casi duplicándola. Las maderas en el primer caso en grupos de 5 y en el segundo de 4. Con respecto a las cuerdas, si bien el número no está especificado para este tipo de orquestas, no será menor a 16-14-12-10-6.</p><p><br></p>',
