Libraries often have tens of thousands of tracks (Audio Jungle has 600,000!) so it is essential that you give your track the <b>best possible chance</b> of being discovered among the vast sways of competition. Your <b>track</b> may be <b>excellent</b>, but if people cannot find it, it is as good as<b> useless</b>.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><b>Conventions</b> for <b>Titles</b> can<b> vary</b> from publisher to publisher. For example on Audio Jungle, a quick look at the best selling tracks reveals titles such as ‘Energetic Upbeat Pop Summer’, ‘Upbeat Indie Folk’, ‘Energetic &amp; Upbeat Indie Rock’ and ‘Upbeat and Inspiring Corporate’. As you can see, they are all <b>generic, descriptive titles</b>, and they all happen to have the word ‘Upbeat’ included.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">My three best selling tracks on Audio Jungle are called ‘Emotional’, ‘Emotional Piano’ and ‘Dramatic Action Trailer’, again with all very generic titles.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">For a </span><b style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">different approach</b><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">, a quick look on </span><b style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">Premiumbeat</b><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"> at the ‘Editor’s Pick’ on the homepage shows track titles such as ‘Upward Mobility’, ‘Be Epic’, ‘Portland Hike’, ‘Miracles at Midnight’ and ‘Dream Large’.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">There is clearly a&nbsp; fundamental difference of approach when it comes to titles among different libraries. I suggest <b>researching the titles</b> of best selling tracks in your <b>chosen libraries</b> and aim to follow their conventions when uploading your own music.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><h3><b><u>Descriptions</u></b></h3><p>The description is also <b>extremely important</b> as it gives you the chance to sell <b>your track</b> and to <b>draw the&nbsp; customer’s attention in</b> further. Descriptions also give you a chance to <b>detail any additional versions</b> you may have provided, which a buyer may be specifically looking for.&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">A <b>good description</b> should always include information such as the <b>mood or style, instruments used, and the potential uses</b> eg. for wedding videos or slide shows.&nbsp; I tend to keep my descriptions on Audio Jungle <b>simple</b> - the description for my no.1 selling track simply states:&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><b><i>‘An emotional and inspiring track, featuring piano and strings. Perfect for slideshows, wedding and romantic videos’.&nbsp;</i></b></span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">For my tracks published on Premiumbeat, they provide the description for my tracks. For ‘Marines Return’ the description they provided is:</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><b><i>‘Lush and adventurous, featuring piano, strings, brass, choir and boomy percussion building up to an epic, wondrous mood.’</i></b></span><br></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">Other examples of descriptions are more detailed, including this one below from Audio Jungle for ‘Uplifting and Inspiring Corporate’ by AurusAudio:</span><br></p><p><i><span style="letter-spacing: 0.1px;">‘An inspiring, energising and uplifting background track perfect to set an optimistic and motivational mood.
