		'content' => '<p>The melody in this cue is made very unnerving by having divisi-strings play tremolo in high registers a chromatically descending line, each section of violins starting on a different note, creating a discordant sound. Also, the melody by each divisi section starts on a different beat, such that the melody has this pulsing nature as it descends. We can hear that it is a descending line, but the rhythm and the fact that they all start on different notes makes the trajectory non-linear. The pulsing is also created by the crescendo and decrescendo (swells) in the strings as well as the upper choir, which creates an additional dissonance and a melodic line with the strings. Also, the melody by each divisi section starts on a different beat, such that the melody has this pulsing nature as it descends. We can hear that it is a descending line, but the rhythm and the fact that they all start on different notes makes the trajectory non-linear. The pulsing is also created by the crescendo and decrescendo (swells) in the strings as well as the upper choir, which creates an additional dissonance and a melodic line with the strings. The texture is easily distinguishable, successfully creates a ghostly feeling for the scene.</p><p>This “melody” creates a non-rhythmic texture overall, but the steady tick-tock rhythm comes from the Harp, giving this eerie texture a forward motion. The textural bed created by the strings, brass, and choir coupled with the rhythmic harp makes the motion towards the climactic moment in the scene very effective. The way the scene has been edited, it is a mixture of cuts across different scenarios in the same place, and every cut is followed by some slow motion movement or a camera pan.
