At its core, Captain America is a<b> patriotic engineer super-soldier</b> whose purpose is to defeat the Nazi regime. Besides having a supernatural strength, he uses a nearly indestructible shield as its main weapon.</p><p>Captain America had many foes over the years, but most of them held anti-American values.&nbsp;</p><p>One interesting development of this character is that he ends up being frozen in the waters of the North-Atlantic after a disastrous but epic plane fight. He was found and revived later in the 60’s.
